Tony has 40 years’ work experience in federal and state government departments and instrumentalities in Australia.  He held program management, senior management, and CEO roles, respectively.  For part of this time, he was appointed as a Member of the Migration & Refugee Review Tribunal, and later the Administrative Appeals Tribunal.  In these roles he heard and decided appeals in complex migration and refugee cases.  He currently works on a part time basis as a Board Member / Adjudicator with the Torture Claims Appeal Board in Hong Kong.

Tony has a degree in law, a degree in accounting, and postgraduate qualifications in migration law and in mediation.  He is admitted to practice as a Barrister and Solicitor in the WA Supreme Court and in the High Court of Australia.

Tony first learned of the work of People Who Care many years ago through his work with federal government.  He believes passionately in the importance of the work of the People Who Care and considers it a privilege to contribute to its objectives.
