Andrew Allsop joined the Board of Management in 2015 and previously held the position of Board Chairperson from 2015 to 2023.. Andrew is a senior social worker with Silver Chain’s Community Specialist Palliative Care Service.

Andrew has thirty-two years of experience as a social worker in Perth's community care and palliative care. He has established and managed services across all aged care and community care services sectors. In addition to his involvement with People Who Care, he has considerable board experience as a past president of Palliative Care WA and a current board member with the national peak organisation Palliative Care Australia.

Andrew is committed to ensuring that People Who Care remains a volunteer-based organisation with the flexibility to meet a diverse range of community needs.
