People Experiencing Financial Hardship

People Who Care have been supporting people who are in financial hardship for over 40 years.

Areas We Can Assist

Through the generous donations of the community, People Who Care offer a suite of financial hardship programs assisting those who are experiencing extreme financial hardship.

Emergency Relief Vouchers

If you are experiencing financial hardship and are eligible, we provide electronic Coles gift vouchers through online application forms only.

Check if you are eligible, answer the following questions:
• Are you eligible for CHSP? Yes – great go ahead and apply.
• Are you eligible for NDIS? Yes – go ahead and apply.
• Are you experiencing family violence? Make sure you get your DV agency to contact us (we cannot take any direct requests).

Power A Pensioner (PAP)

Provides financial support to people who rely solely on the pension and are experiencing financial hardship.

This program assists pensioners by paying for essential expenses such as medical bills, utilities or essential medication to support their health, wellbeing and independence.

The eligibility criteria for PAP is disability support pension or aged pension.
