Cecilia Broderick Deputy Chair |
Cecilia has a degree in industrial chemistry, but her work
has focused on services delivery in the government sector. She is State Manager of Community Engagement in
the State Government's Office of Citizens and Civics. Cecilia has an extensive background in public policy
development and previously held senior positions in the Fisheries Department of WA and the Queensland
Department of Environmental Protection. |

David Clark Board Member |
David opened the first video shop
in Midland and his diverse retail history also covers a Pine Furniture Manufacturing shop, Second Hand
Antiques and wholesaling Office Furniture. He currently enjoys being a weekend wedding chauffeur.
His other interests include being Vice President of the WA Historical Cycle Club, a founding member
of the Classic and Collectible Car Club and being a Volunteer for PWC for the last four years. |

Eileen Murphy Secretary |
Eileen has been a volunteer with People Who Care since 2004 in the Leisure Centre
and with CVS and has many years of management experience in the Community Care, Home Care and Disability Services. |

Barbara Aberley Board Member |
In spite of a very busy life Barbara has
always found the time to volunteer and be of help to the community. An active volunteer in our Op Shop and
Leisure Centre since 2006, she is also a keen amateur artist and brings management and practical experience
in retail and hospitality. |

Steve Heathcote Board Member |
Steve is a partner in Downings Legal and is responsible for Downings’
Workplace Relations practice. He holds bachelor degrees in law and in commerce. His B.Com includes majors in both Human Resource Management
and Industrial Relations. Prior to becoming a lawyer, Steve accumulated wide commercial and industrial experience in the finance industry
before working as a Training consultant, a University lecturer and tutor, an industrial advocate and the WA Regional Manager for the Printing
Industries Association of Australia. Steve has been working full time in the workplace relations arena for more than a decade. |

Lynette Jones Board Member |
Lyn is currently the General Manager, Strategy with Silver Chain
Nursing Association. Although she has a Nursing background, her expertise is in the coordination of corporate planning activities,
the development of corporate reporting and the Identification and development of strategic opportunities.
Her experience and knowledge will be of great benefit to the Board and the future of People Who Care.

Peter Varris Board Member |
Peter Varris possesses a Masters in Business Administration and has 25 years
experience in local government with almost 20 years at a senior management level. He has strategic and operational management experience in the
delivery of local government services, projects and facilities, including the management of community services. Peter has high level skills and
experience in community engagement and in working with local government elected members, specialising in corporate governance. He has an excellent
understanding of the activities of Boards, particularly meeting procedure and management, and holds the Company Director’s Diploma from the AICD.
He currently manages his own consultancy business.
