People Who Care is looking for three Regional Services Coordinators, based in Guildford, Warwick and Mandurah. You need to be vibrant, highly motivated, with a passion for high quality service delivery. The role will primarily require you to assist the Regional Manager in the day to day oversight of service delivery, provide staff/volunteer supervision and support, and be proactive in the ongoing development of the agencies service standards and strategic direction.
The successful applicants must possess an appropriate tertiary degree or have extensive industry experience; excellent verbal and written communication skills; a demonstrated ability to coordinate a complex service, staff supervision and support skills, and an ability to use and train others in computer software including client management database systems.

Corporate Services Support Officer
People Who Care has a vacancy for a Corporate Services Support Officer. We are looking for a highly motivated individual who can assist in the development and monitoring of Regional Budgets and Financial reporting; work with the Corporate Services Team to ensure the internal control systems are maintained and meet appropriate audit standards; assist with the coordination and reporting of PWC’s assets; and undertake basic/intermediate HR tasks.
To be considered for this role you must hold an appropriate tertiary degree or have extensive industry experience in accounting; have highly developed skills in the use of MYOB accounting software; a demonstrated ability to ensure contractual and legal obligations are met; excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.

Leisure Centre Coordinator Position
Coordinator – Seniors Leisure Centre
People Who Care has a vacancy for a creative, fun and organised full time Coordinator for its Leisure Centre program. Based 4 days at our Guildford centre and 1 day at our Warwick centre, occasional weekend work is required. Working with an Activities Assistant and volunteers, this hands on role coordinates and provides assistance for low support aged clients. Duties will be performed with an emphasis on wellness and optimising client’s existing skills and abilities, developing and implementing individual care plans, and delivering innovative high quality outcomes.
The successful applicant must provide a National Police Clearance prior to commencement. The Coordinator must be able to forward plan, creatively problem solve and communicate well with a diverse range of people. Prior experience in aged care will be an advantage but is not essential.

Home Maintenance Team Leader Position
Team Leader – Gardening
People Who Care has a vacancy for an energetic, organised, full time Team Leader to undertake service delivery from our Guildford office. Working with volunteer and corporate teams, this hand on role coordinates and provides basic gardening and home maintenance services for frail aged clients. Duties will be performed with an emphasis on wellness, optimising client’s abilities through developing and implementing individual care plans aimed to assist them to remain living in their homes.
The successful applicant must have a valid driving licence and provide a National Police Clearance prior to commencement. The Team Leader must have a sound understanding of gardening equipment and processes, be able to effectively supervise volunteers and other staff in gardening activities and be team orientated. Prior experience in a similar role will be an advantage.

PWC And Beef And Beer Club Fundraising Event
People Who Care and The Beer and Beef Club Perth’s 2012 fundraising event will be held at the Mounts Bay Yacht Club on March 3rd commencing at 6pm. Renowned Jazz vocalist James Flynn, one of Australia’s leading entertainers, and his band will be on hand ……… A Balmy Night, A City View, A River of Mirrors, Music to sooth the Soul.
Proceeds from this 1920's and All That Jazz fundraiser will be used to support People Who Care’s Power a Pensioner initiative which aims to highlight the hardships endured by pensioners and the elderly in the West Australian community.
